About Me

Dr. Md. Faridul Islam

I am a Former Secretary of the Government of Bangladesh and a member of the 11th BCS (Administration) cadre with over four decades of experience in public administration, governance, and policy development. I have served in key leadership roles, including CEO of several Zilla Parishads and Protocol Officer to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, contributing to administrative reforms and development initiatives at national and district levels.

I hold a Ph.D. in Public Administration, with research on women’s participation in local governance and sustainable development. My background in finance, law, and agriculture supports my multidisciplinary approach to policy and governance.

I continue to engage in research, policy advisory, and development initiatives focused on improving governance, sustainability, and public service delivery in Bangladesh.
